I could not recommend Bassette Plumbing Group any higher than I am doing right now. They were on time even earlier and that was a bonus as I had quite a few other things to do at the same time. They were efficient, calm, clean and tidy, nothing was a problem for them. Their manners where of a good standard and the bonus was they were economic with their work. One more thing I would like to reiterate that past plumbers could not complete the work. Bassette Plumbing Group could just like that. They're the group for me.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?A plumbing emergency is any issue that poses an immediate risk to your home, health, or safety. This includes burst pipes, major leaks, sewage backups, blocked toilets, gas leaks, and no access to running water. If left untreated, these problems can cause significant damage and require costly repairs.
-
What should I do if a pipe bursts in my home?If a pipe bursts, turn off your main water supply immediately to prevent flooding. Next, try to contain any water using towels or buckets and move valuables out of harm’s way. Then, call an emergency plumber to assess and repair the damage as soon as possible.
-
How do I know if I have a blocked drain that needs urgent attention?A blocked drain becomes an emergency when water stops draining completely, starts backing up, or emits a foul smell. If you hear gurgling sounds from your pipes or notice slow drainage in multiple fixtures, it could indicate a severe blockage that requires professional clearing.
-
Can I fix a leaking pipe or tap myself? For minor leaks, you may be able to temporarily stop the water using plumber’s tape or a bucket to catch drips. However, leaks can worsen over time, leading to structural damage and higher water bills. It’s always best to have a plumber properly repair the issue to prevent further complications.
-
How quickly can I expect a plumber to turn up??Emergency response times vary, but most plumbers aim to arrive within an hour or two, depending on location and demand. At Bassett Plumbing Group, we prioritise urgent cases and do our best to get to you as quickly as possible to minimize damage and restore your plumbing system.
